Migraines
Well it seems that migraines run in the family. Ugh. I hate that this has happened. Well Olivia tonight told me that she had a really bad headache. She acted fine all night and then as soon as we parked in the driveway she told me that she didn't feel good. Well you have to understand that sometimes when Olivia knows she has to do her homework she will tell me she doesn't feel good in hopes that if it doesn't get done then she will honestly be able to skip school the next day. So not going to happen at all and we've had this talk before with her about fibbing about what hurts. Well tonight was what I thought was one of those times. Wrong. Olivia kept telling me that her head hurt and that she needed to lay down and go to sleep. I don't think from my knowledge that she hit her head any or anything like that so I don't think it's a concussion but you never know right? Well then she told me that she didn't feel good, like she was going to get sick and so I told her to go to the bathroom. Needless to say she didn't make it. She made it luckily to the kitchen trash can and so we didn't have a big mess to clean up. She said her head still hurt and her tummy a little so I'm thinking that she had a migraine. She is now upstairs sleeping in her room with a large trash can next to her bed. I am only praying though that she doesn't have that nasty stomach bug going around. She really doesn't need that at all. None of us need it either.
I can deal with my headaches and stomachaches but for Olivia she can't. I have her daddy on standby in case I need for him to watch her tomorrow. I guess we'll see what happens in the morning. If she continues to have these headaches then I will talk to the doctor about them. I have dealt with migraines since I was in the 8th grade and know when I am normally going to get one but sometimes they can hit me without me knowing too. Ugh. Please pray that Olivia isn't having these. She's too young in my eyes to have them!
