Today I was outside talking to a client when I noticed this large butted spider. Eww! Gross me out. I'm so scared of them but for some reason I got this notion to snap a few shots of it. I don't know if it was dangerous or not but I had mom kill it. It's too risky to have Olivia around and that thing there on the side of the porch. So here are a few shots I got.
It's a Golden Orb Weaver...sometimes called a Banana Spider. The bite would hurt, but it's not poisonous. Just like with a horse fly or wasp or anything that bites/stings, you could have a reaction IF you're allergic. Otherwise, it's just a pretty spider to look at and enjoy. Don't you love her boots? There is really no need to kill them.
