Hard Candy iPhone Case & Gumdrop MacBook Pro Case Review
As most of you know by now, I have an iPhone 5 and a MacBook Pro. We have evolved into Apple people and yet I am still using my Toshiba as my graphic design laptop still. Guess I still need it after all! Well I was lucky enough to be able to review a Hard Candy iPhone 5 Case and a Gumdrop MacBook Pro Case.
Hard Candy iPhone Case:
I really enjoyed using this case! I received the HarvetCraft Slider Case. I liked how it was super slim and how it felt. But there were a few things that I did not like on the case and that was that when I slid it in my back pocket and would go to get it out the end piece would slide right off. I wish there was a way for this not to happen and for it to snap on instead of sliding it on and off. This really became a pain when I would just go to use my phone and I couldn't because I had to find the other piece to attach to the case. I did however like how it was easy to put on and it was easy to change the bottom piece out for the other 2 colors. I used it mainly with the pink and dark gray on because those colors are so nice looking together. I also loved the color inside of the case which was a light blue color. I felt it really accented the phone colors very nice. I really enjoyed using this case and will continue to use it in the future. Right now I am using my other case because I was doing a lot of things in the house cleaning and I didn't want to drop it in some water and damage it (which I have done with other phones). I do however recommend this case and using a Hard Candy Case. They have awesome colors and they are really nice to have. The cost of the HarvestCraft Slider is $39.95 and is available on Hard Candy Cases Site.
Gumdrop MacBook Pro Case:
Ever since I got my MacBook Pro in September, I had not yet gotten a case for the laptop. I just couldn't find one that I really liked until now. I found the Drop Tech Sleeve Gumdrop Case to be just wonderful and it fits the laptop too! I love how it conforms to my MacBook Pro and how it came with little pieces to keep laptop in it's place. Plus it's a nice fit when it's zipped up which is something I like too. One thing I do wish it had was somewhere I could put my charger but I guess that's what my big laptop bag is for. I found that the color was just right even though I wish they had other colors besides black for the case. Aqua or even pink would have been nice but it's not really about the color it's about the protection it has for my very expensive laptop. Now I just need to find something to protect the keyboard from food getting into it and I will be all set! I highly recommend getting this because it's perfect for people on the go like I am most of the time! The cost of the Drop Tech Sleeve is $49.95 on their website. I don't think that is a bad price at all for something that will keep your expensive MacBook!
*I received both of these cases for free in return for an honest review on them both.*
