Saving Money-Homemade Laundry Detergent
Thanks to the neat site called Pinterest, I have found many things to do and make. There is something that I am hoping we can do next year and that is I plan to homeschool Olivia if we can afford it next year. I think it will do her some good doing this and I feel that it's something that I need to do as a parent. Well something that I hate doing is the laundry. I absolutely hate folding the clothes and putting them away. I wish they could just put themselves away and fold themselves. But one thing that has made me want to do laundry is by saving money. I found on pinterest where you can make your own laundry detergent. What a great idea! So that's what I did! I made it and it was so easy too! So I made 2 gallons of detergent for a total of $5 and it means I can do approx. 500 loads. You use only a 1/2 cup of the detergent and it's safe enough to use in an HE washer. Instead of adding it to where you would for the laundry detergent, just place in the drum instead. Easy peasy! I love saving money! My next project is a menu board, fabric softener and a few more things.
