Defibrillators
As most of you know, my grandfather has an internal defibrillator that he's had know for the past 2 years. Yes he's almost 92 years old but after having a major heart attack just before Christmas 2 years ago it seemed like the logical thing to do. He's still doing good but I have to say that I never knew that you could purchase a Philips AED (Automated External Defibrillator). I always thought that medical personnel had to purchase them but they are open to the public to purchase. So maybe it would be logical to have an AED around the house if you have older grandparents, parents or have someone in your family that has a heart condition.
