Happy Valentine's Day!!! I can't believe that it's already February 14th. My how the time has flown by. The past couple days have been kind of busy for me. The weekend nothing really happened as usual. Monday night Olivia decided she was going to be the Holy Terror and not listen to a word I said. It's like this whole acting out thing is getting out of control and I am out of answers on what to do? If any of you have any advice please let me know...I'll try anything at this point. Time outs don't work, Spanking her doesn't work (I prefer not to do this but sometimes its the only way to get through to her) and just telling her that I'm going to get the paddle, which is a wooden spoon doesn't work anymore. What have I done wrong here? I thought things would get better as she gets older but it seems like it's just getting worse. Help!!
Last night we took our Taxes over to Butch's house to have him do them and then we went on back to Rocky Mount and had dinner at Lonestar. Mmm...it was so good! I couldn't have eaten more but I had an allergic reaction to something that I had come in contact with and my throat started swelling. Dee! I've done so well in not having any reactions to having them again. What is going on here in my body? Why do I feel like crap most of the time and not have the energy to do anything. I went to bed around 9:30pm last night and probably fell asleep sometime around 10:30. I was reading my book before that which I am almost finished with it. If any of you want a really awesome book to read I highly suggest reading "She said Yes" by Misty Bernall whose daughter was killed on April 20, 1999 at Columbine High School. It's a very good book and it's hard to put it down. I'm going to have to find another book soon to read. I might even try the Goodwill Store in Rocky Mount for more great books. But if I keep finding great books I am going to have to go get a bookshelf soon. We're running out of room to keep them in the little pile on the coffee table. Road trip to Ikea at Potomac Mills!!! Yes!
Tonight we don't have any plans really just going to get some takeout from Lams Garden and then go home and watch the Gardian again and maybe Walk the Line again. Well I have been looking online and I think that I'm going to save up some money for an older Tahoe. I love the older style with the boxy look and I have always wanted one. Plus we can get rid of the Piece of Shit Van we have now. It's like everything has to go wrong with it all at once. Better get off here to start back to work. I'll try to update more tomorrow.
Hey girl!
ReplyDeleteI was a nanny for triplets (for 6 years!!) so I know how rowdy kids can be. You can email me (cdenton_80@yahoo.com) if you want my two cents worth :) Obviously I have to have more info to comment on what discipline might work the best.
